Town Centre Ambassadors

Town Centre Ambassadors are tailored to each town centre and their own can vary – the one thing they all have in common is their welcoming and helpful approach and of course valuable information for shoppers and visitors.

Ambassadors can be based in shops, local businesses or facilities, or even mobile such as street cleaners and police or wardens.

As well as providing information you will also be our ‘eyes and ears’ on the street, feeding back any suggestions, complaints, grumbles or ideas to improve our town centre.

In a lot of town centres culture and tourist features heavily, and although we want to grow this in Middleton you will know the main issue now are more operational and some of the most common questions during the town centre redevelopment will be;
- What is the redevelopment all about?
- When will Tesco open?
- Where can I park?
- What’s going on with roadwork's?

We are currently developing this scheme and will be able to announce Middleton's Ambassadors very soon.
